Singer, songwriter, storyteller, teacher and quilter Cathy Miller (the “Singing Quilter”) will once again join Susan and Daphne on her fourth quilting cruise with them.  In addition to classes, and a concert with her husband John Bunge, she will also involve quilters’ partners in the fun by stealing them away to a “secret” place on the ship to write a song together.  The song will be sung at the final concert. Cathy and John have performed at over 500 quilting events on 3 continents since 2000, and have received many rave reviews for her funny, poignant and historical songs and stories about quilting. http://www.singingquilter.com

Since taking my first quilting class over 20 years ago, quilting has been a very important part of my life. My studies have included intensive design courses in England and Canada, as well as quilting techniques, history, fibre and dyeing workshops. I encourage quilters, both newcomers and the more experienced, to enjoy the process, to gather as much knowledge as possible and to challenge themselves with new techniques and processes. I have taught classes at basic, intermediate and advanced levels and students have described my classes as informative, fun and inspiring. http://www.patchworkstudio.com
